Coleman joined the Progressive Physical Therapy team in 2025. He was born and raised in Palmer, Alaska, and earned his undergraduate degree in Human Biology from Chadron State College in Chadron, Nebraska. He attended the University of Saint Mary in Leavenworth, Kansas, where he completed his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2019. Immediately after graduation, he returned to the Mat-Su Valley and has been practicing in outpatient orthopedics.

Coleman’s career has focused on a variety of orthopedic conditions. Coleman is an ICE Certified Specialist, through the Institute of Clinical Excellence, in Orthopedics, Management of the Endurance Athlete, and Management of the Fitness Athlete. He also enjoys integrating manual techniques and dry needling into his treatment options. He is passionate about working with people with mountain athletes and a variety of orthopedic conditions, to help them be stronger, healthier, and exceed their goals.

In his free time, Coleman enjoys hiking and traveling with his wife, Madi, and spending time with their two dogs, Atlas and Charli. For fitness, he likes doing Crossfit, trail running, mountaineering, and mountain biking.

Coleman is excited to be a part of the Progressive team and to help patients push their mental and physical boundaries, improve their function, and get outside to enjoy everything Alaska has to offer.
